I will start by reminding you of my free All About Rabbit Task Cards. For more information on those and then to go download them head to my blog page about it by clicking on the picture:
Next up I have a really cute contraction center. All the contractions have the word not, including the two tricky ones can't, and won't. It fits Common Core Standard: L.2.2. Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing. Students match the contractions with the two short words. It can also be played by turning all the cards over and playing the game concentration. I hope that your students enjoy it! This one is just $2.50. You can check it out by clicking on either picture:
Thanks for hoppin' by! Brian :-)

ReplyDeleteWelcome Lita! Glad you like it!
DeleteThis is awesome. There are so many great links to look through. Now I wish my vacation wasn't the first week of April so that I could use more of them!

Rats that's a bad time for your break. I guess you can always celebrate the next week! Many did that with St. Patrick's Day!
DeleteThere are some really great links in this line up. I noticed your kangaroo and boomerang, are you in Australia?
ReplyDeleteNo because of my last name Hopkins. Look at it "Hop"kins. So I picked the Kangaroo because Kangaroo's hop. The rabbit's looked a bit girlish and everyone uses frogs so I wanted to be different. I'm in Florida! Would love to travel to Australia though! Thanks for asking!
DeleteThank you, this is my first look at a linky party. I'm new to blogging so it's all a learning curve for me! I will have a closer look again tomorrow to look for ideas to do with children in transit.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
