This story is about a monkey who wants go on an adventure and meet different creatures, experience different cultures, and learn another language. The money meets a cat and a pelican who are also looking for the same kind of adventure. They develop a friendship and set off to explore together and meet a dog in a private piece of land who takes them on an incredible adventure.
I love that this book has a theme of respecting other cultures, languages, and lifestyles. This book is perfect for a read aloud for 4 year old through 9 years old. For younger children you will want to read a chapter or two at a time to hold their attention. It is also a terrific beginning chapter book for children who may be skeptical of long chapter books that don't have any or many pictures. This book has absolutely beautiful pictures on each page that children are sure to enjoy! It's also a great book to work on prediction skills!
This giveaway will end on Wednesday, October 28th at 11:59pm Eastern time. The winner will have 48 hours to reply to my e-mail with their address if in the United States with their mailing address or a new winner will be chosen.

Thank you for hoppin' by Hopkins' Hoppin' Happenings. Keep on smiling!
I teach 4th grade in a very diverse area. Most of my students are ESL so this would be a wonderful book for teaching how different cultures and languages are able to get along. I would use this book as a read aloud so the entire class was given an opportunity to discuss it. Thank you for this opportunity.
